Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank

We welcome groups and individuals to organize new diaper inventory, repackage and wrap diapers, and fill orders for our partner agencies. There are also occasionally office and administrative tasks to complete.

Saint Francis Seraph Ministries

St. Francis Seraph Ministry has volunteer opportunities in our Cooking for the Family program to assist the chefs in setup, clean up, and prep for class.

The Mother Teresa of Calcutta Kitchen provides breakfast and dinner Monday thru Friday (except for major holidays).
Volunteers are needed to setup, serve and cleanup after meals. Breakfast volunteers are needed 7 am – 9 am and dinner volunteers 4 pm – 6 pm.

Our Bag Lunch program need volunteers to make bag lunches throughout the week.

The Sarah Center program volunteers would assist at craft shows; people experienced in jewelry making, sewing or other crafts are invited to share an teach others the fine skills of creativity; volunteers also help sort donated materials.      

Mary Magdalen House

Mary Magdalen House has need of regular, ongoing volunteers who are able to give of their time on a consistent basis (one morning or afternoon a week, bi-weekly, once a month, etc.). 

Volunteers help with the sorting of donations (clothing and toiletries), guest laundry, and assisting at the front desk in serving our guests.

Franciscan Ministries Haircuts from the Heart

We invite volunteers with an active Ohio State Board Cosmetology License to assist us with haircuts inside Mary Magdalen House on Mondays, Wednesdays, or Fridays.

Center For Respite Care

provide a meal on the weekend for up to 20 clients. (breakfast/lunch,
lunch/dinner, drop off a frozen entrée
we can serve another time).

sponsor
a drive for the Center’s stock the pantry project – shelf stable,
individualized food items (soups,
microwavable meals, cereal and the like).

sponsor
a drive for toiletries and recovery lounge-ware: sweat suits, T-shirts, new
men’s &            women’s undergarments,
socks, shower shoes. 

sponsor
an activity – recreational or educational.

adopt a
season of the Center for Respite Care’s courtyard. 

Prince of Peace Lutheran Church/Welcome Home Collaborative

Life Coaches:  We are in need
of Life Coaches to assist/mentor program participants. Although Social Work
experience education would be beneficial, it is not a requirement. We will
provide training. Life Coaches will meet with their associate one hour per
week. This is a volunteer position.

Grant Writing: We need assistance with grant writing. This is a
volunteer position.
